O meu trabalho nasce da necessidade de tornar visível aquilo que muitas vezes preferimos não ver.
‍A pintura ocupa um lugar central na minha prática artística. A ela juntam-se a fotografia, a escultura, a instalação, o desenho, a escrita e a Arte Objetual, diferentes formas de expressão através das quais exploro a relação entre o ser humano, a memória, o território e o tempo. As viagens, os encontros com a arte e com as civilizações antigas, ampliaram o meu olhar e continuam a alimentar uma prática artística onde referências pessoais, culturais e coletivas se cruzam. É nesse diálogo entre o visível e o invisível que procuro criar obras que convidem a olhar de novo, a questionar e a tomar consciência das marcas que deixamos no mundo.

‍My work is born from the need to make visible what we often choose not to see.
‍Painting occupies a central place in my artistic practice. Alongside it, I work with photography, sculpture, installation, drawing, writing, and Object Art, different forms of expression through which I explore the relationship between human beings, memory, territory, and time. Travel, encounters with art, and ancient civilisations, have broadened my gaze and continue to nourish an artistic practice in which personal, cultural and collective references intersect. It is within this dialogue between the visible and the invisible that I seek to create works that invite us to look again, to question, and to become more aware of the marks we leave on the world.
