Fragments of Broken Silence brings into dialogue three of the most urgent wounds of our time: war, modern slavery and environmental destruction. Realities that cross borders and affect different peoples and territories, yet cannot be confronted in isolation. Through painting, the project breaks the silence and invites us to look at what so often remains invisible. Because what we choose to see also determines what we choose to take responsibility for.
Fragmentos de Silêncio Quebrado coloca em diálogo três das feridas mais urgentes do nosso tempo: a guerra, a nova escravatura e a destruição ambiental. Realidades que atravessam fronteiras e afetam povos e territórios diferentes, mas que não podem ser enfrentadas isoladamente. Através da pintura, o projeto rompe o silêncio e convida a olhar o que tantas vezes permanece invisível. Porque aquilo que escolhemos ver também determina aquilo por que escolhemos ser responsáveis.
